MACIEJ GNIADY

Intermedia artist whose interests revolve around art-science trend in contemporary art, incorporating virtual spaces, procedural 2d and 3d animation techniques, databending, motion sensors and audio synthesizers in his activities. In his works he explores the concept of sensory stimuli and perception, their role in creating conciousness, inspired by transhumanist theories and cybernetic poetry.

He is a graduate of Intermedia Faculty of Academy of Fine arts in Cracow, winner of Scholarship of Minister of Culture and National Heritage in 2016 and Diamond Grant issued by Minister of Higher Education in 2017. Graduated PHD  in 2023 . Currently leads a Animation Studio at Intermedia Department on the Academy of Fine arts in Cracow.
